Those who are growing fat continues to grow fat. I can't.

coz i am getting married soon.

I only ate for 1 week. and my skin is smoothing out and i am looking more radiant day by day.

Its probably a psychological thing coz i spent 12600 yen on 9 months supply of the fancl collagen. But this time i am definitely sure that its working on my skin.

I used to love it more when I was younger.

I loved it when I ordered "Milo Peng" from the coffee shop uncle and he would encourage me in teochew, "ai hor hor tak chek"; now the pretty chinese-speaking girl would ask me what is "Milo Peng" or "tehsee" .

I felt proud of my family whenever my ahma or ahgong brought me to their egg stall in the wet market where their customers called them "guay neng tao geh" and "guay neng soh"; my ahgong is gone, and the wet markets in Singapore are disappearing because of market demands, and my ahma would possibly lose her job in a few years time, thanks to the rich organization.

Houses are getting really expensive relative to our pathetic pay, cars are flooding the streets despite the increasing ERPs and the MRT is getting slower and overcrowded over the years. My "personal space" in the MRT has reduced from 3m2 to 0.5m2 even at the non-peak hours.

Today I went to the HDB with QX and found that we couldn't even apply for HDB until 5 years later. The reason being QX has an existing HDB flat under his name since last year. It is ridiculous because he did not even purchase the house and HDB is supposed to help young couples like us set up a family. Is the property market meant to be so illiquid & so expensive according to market competition and demand?? I am not even a step close to my "dream" house, which is a landed property near the beach.

Hai. So irritated. Looks like an alternative is to get a condo or we have to wait for 10 years before we can get married. I couldn't picture myself in 10 years time as everything would have changed.
